COMMUNITY PROJECTS

At SPASA we design community projects that use street arts to activate the cultural life of a territory, reclaim public space as a meeting place and address issues that concern or interest the community. Each project is born from the reality of the place: it can give voice to a shared history, strengthen ties between the neighborhood, make a problem visible or generate new forms of cultural participation.

We do not work with closed formulas. From the very beginning, we design the proposal with the city council and local entities, and we involve the associative network, groups and the neighborhood in the process. The projects are modular: we adapt the phases, duration, intensity and formats - workshops, collective creations, interventions in public space, shows or festivals - to the needs, objectives and resources of each territory.

We work both in cities and rural environments, especially in peripheral neighborhoods and areas with little access to culture. The goal is to build rooted projects, capable of leaving links, knowledge and tools in the territory so that the community can make it grow and progressively assume its leading role.
