WHO ARE WE?
SPASA is a cooperative for training, meeting and support in street arts.
We were born from our Summer Academy, an experience that combines training with major events like the Aquelarre de Cervera and FiraTàrrega, and that has made one thing very clear to us: artists and companies need more spaces where they can grow, share and professionalise.
Today, SPASA is a project that works to give street arts the place they deserve: we offer training, support and tools so that companies and cultural agents can grow their artistic projects and connect with audiences and communities.

MISSION
Our mission is to promote street arts as a cultural sector with its own value.
We promote street arts with training, support and tools for artists and organizers to develop solid projects in public space. We work to make the street an active place of creation, participation and accessible culture.
We want SPASA to be an international benchmark that connects artists, companies and cultural agents to grow street arts as an engine of local and global transformation.
VISION
We aspire to become a reference space for the evolution of the sector, reinforcing training, professional quality and the social impact of street arts.

VALUES
Our base is in Ponent, where a large part of SPASA's services, programs and stable relationships are developed. When we work in other territories, we do so by adapting to each context and collaborating with agents who have a presence, knowledge and direct links there.
It is the space for creation, relationship and cultural access that gives meaning to the project. We defend it as a shared, accessible and democratizing space, where diverse people can meet and participate in quality cultural proposals.
We understand our work as a shared process. We always work in relation to artists, administrations, local entities, networks and other agents, and we build projects together with the people and organizations involved. We conceive of SPASA as an organization that always works based on collaboration. We also share decisions, knowledge and resources with our members, the team and allied organizations.
We promote proposals that reduce economic, territorial and social barriers to access to culture.
We defend professional conditions and adequate remuneration for all people who work in the sector. This dignification involves both improving working and economic conditions and reinforcing the social and cultural recognition of street arts as a professional sector.
